U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent revealed on Fox Business that President TRUMP will announce his pick for Federal Reserve Chair within days or weeks. The decision, which could precede or follow the Davos summit, will bring much-needed clarity to the future direction of U.S. monetary policy.

Trump's comments on Kevin Hassett, initially seen as a dovish candidate for the role, suggest a potential shift away from expectations of looser monetary policy.
